A Safe Dropper
A new dropper design which prevents air from entering he vein as the medicine ends, has been developed at the Tyumen University.
Usually as a dropper is used, the level of medicine should be constantly monitored. Researchers from Tyumen offered a new design with a plastic ball which floats on the surface of the liquid. As the medicine ends and its supply stops, the ball covers the lumen of the vortex neck, preventing air access to vein, says the researcher, explaining the principle of functioning of the safe dropper.
It is a unique development, which has already been patented.
