Double Standards are Abandoned
The Ministry of Health received a notice from the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS).
The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has identified a number of situations of unjustified resistance by the Ministry of Health of activity of pharmaceutical companies. Besides, there were cases when the Ministry of Health groundlessly refused Pharma companies to introduce amendments into the register record on state registration of the maximum retail price of the drug if package contents is changed, violating the rules of maintaining a register of prices for drugs. Besides, refusals in such situations were obtained not by all pharmaceutical companies, as the Ministry of Health acted selectively, and FAS paid attention of the Ministry to that fact last February.
According to a notice of FAS the Ministry of Health will have to review all the notices and make amendments into the register records on prices for drugs according to point 6(1) of the Register of Drug Prices Rules.
