Ibuprofen and Paracetamol – Rx-only
The Department of Public Regulation of Drug Circulation at the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation demands that over-the-counter distribution of ibuprofen+paracetamol drug combinations to children be prohibited.

The decision is based on the clinically-evidenced information on the possibility of development of childhood asthma.
Combinations of active ingredients of ibuprofen and paracetamol are found in the following drugs: Brustan (for children of >12 y.o.), Ibuclin Junior and Ibuclin (for children of >2 y.o.), Next (for children of >12 y.o.), Nurofen Multisymptom (for children of >12 y.o.) and Hirumat (for children of >12 y.o.).
