Import Substitution: Scientific Approach
Alkor Bio Group has opened two new laboratories – microbiological and chemical.
The aim of the microbiological laboratory is to achieve complete substitution of imported raw materials used for manufacture of ELISA kits for detection of TORCH infections, as well as PCR attestation – own sets. The laboratory is equipped with a high-speed centrifuge for separation and purification of antigens (including of viral origin) and other modern equipment.
The aim of the chemical laboratory created within the framework of import substitution is to develop methods of obtaining modified magnetic particles for nanoreagents. It will help avoid expenses for purchase of expensive imported analogues. The laboratory equipment enables synthesis of nano- and micro-size magnetic particles, modified ethers of steroid hormones.
