The Panel of Eurasian Economic Commission Begins Work in Renewed Composition
Eurasian Economic Commission Panel started its work on February 1, its renewed composition was approved by Presidents of Eurasian Economic Union in December 2015 at the meeting of High Eurasia Economic Council.
Now the Panel includes 10 members: each state is represented in the panel by two Panel members (Ministers) of the Eurasia Economic Commission. Eight of ten EEC Ministers of the new call had occupied ministerial posts before. Veronika Nikishina (a representative from the Russian Federation) has become a new person on the Panel, apart from EEC Panel Chairman Tigran Sarkisyan. She has replaced Andrey Slepnev at the post of the Minister of Trade.
A new position has been established at the Panel – a Panel Member (Minister) for Home Markets, Informational Support and Information and Communication Technologies. The position has been filled by Karine Minasyan (the Republic of Armenia).
