Russia and Greece: Agreement on Cooperation
A bilateral agreement on cooperation in the field of pharmaceutics was signed between the Association of Russian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Greece Institute of Pharmaceutical Studies and Technologies during Russian-Greek Business Forum held within the framework of 81th International Expo in Saloniki (Greece).
The agreement will be a logical stage of development of cooperation between representatives of Greek and Russian business. Andreas Xanfos, the Greek Minister of Health who expressed hope that cooperation between the countries will foster marketing of novel Russian drugs in the Greek market. Greece is on the verge of new medicines policy which will ensure equal access to medicines for all citizens, he says. Cooperation of Greece and Russia holds much promise, particularly in relation to joint clinical trials and best practices in know-how.
The Russian party invited Greek students of Pharmaceutical Universities and Faculties to take part in the V Russian Student Pharmaceutical Olympics, which will be held next January in the Moscow region.
